"The Churchill Wit"

Well, there are "failed states" and failed campaigns and failed Blogs and there were Nixon's comments after his failed gubernatorial campaign in the state of California. And one could worse than to bow out gracefully. The failure of this site is not due to the malign influence of the stars of the NRO cosmos, but mine alone. While I have not always agreed with the opinions expressed by the staff or with what may be reasonably inferred about their assessment of the quality of my work, I'm reminded of what Winston Churchill said when asked his opinion of the Boers as soldiers.
