Where there's will there's a *Wahabi*

Jews have lived in what is commonly called the "West Bank" for thousands of years(except, for all I know 1948-67), yet the removal of all Jews from that area to "Israel proper" is part of nearly all "peace proposals." The practical difficulties of the removal are considered to be *relatively* trivial.(that said expulsion wouldn't do much to satisfy the "aspiration" of the Palestinians is off the point)
It's a er, "disappointment" that David Frum(like many others of good will)wrote today, "It is a fantasy to imagine that the US government will round up and deport all or even very many of these 7 to 10 million people."(It's even more disappointing that he may be correct.)
Perhaps, although the term might resonate with some of the nastier types(which surely doesn't include VDARE's Paul Gottfried-see archives- "For Zionists, Time to Choose") we should start calling the er, undocumented workers "SETTLERS."

With respect to our southern border, why not an "amnesty" for civilian sharpshooters?(Sign up now! For a 2 week sunny vacation with guides from *Camp of the Saints, Inc.*)While some years ago I advocated the use of land mines on TNR's defunct chatsite, those devices *are* indiscriminate(though not so much as Palestinians who sometimes *deliberately* seek out children as targets)and the environmental impact could be gruesome in spite of the statement from the Homeland Security chief of an "alternative reality" : "Oh, we'll bag up the bits and pieces and toss 'em back over the fence."
A more practical approach could involvement the willing enlistment of scores of millions of citizens in get sorta' rich schemes involving the confiscation of assests(wages, rent deposits, monies deposited in Social Security etc.)of illegals, and a modest proposal along those lines was made on Jan 5 by Juan Mann on VDARE.
