Disinternment Disinterest

Well, the Derb's call for corpses fresh enough to dig up 'n desecrate seems to have er, risen without trace. Perhaps it's just as well. Even I, *scoundrel* that iyam, and who didn't take the *time* to "name names," having spewn alot along those lines in print and aloud within earshot of my much annoyed kiddies, had realized that this wasn't from one of my better angels o' death. Maybe filmstar John "Dirk" Diggershire ditched the idea after sleeping on it, or perhaps the thing was quashed by the sober Mother Blog(if anyone has been lent the ear of WFB, this gem could be passed on, tho' one doubts that he would be er, "Bloored" over) KLo. I didn't even get around to articulating a warning not to rearticulate the bones of Tamerlane for some "Mort Court." (-not to be confused with Ramesh's recent holding of a 'Smoot Court' for long departed tariffs) And, although it's by now a moot issue, Derb probably had a gulagzillion nominations for Alger Hiss. (A Google search for whether that Bolshevik Brahmin's bones were buried or burned was fruitless, although a play on words on a play,(and book and movie)"Flowers for Alger Hiss" popped up. I *think* that I had thought up something similar to that, but I *am* reasonably certain that more tears were shed during Cliff Robertson's Academy Award winning performance in "Charly" than for over the death of Whittaker Chambers' old chum.) And (finally!) John "Backhoe" Derbyshovel doubtless received reprimands for reminding folks of Khallid "Kill 'em again' Abdul Muhammad:

Well time to put this blog and self to bed, else I wake at the crack of noon. -"Sunlit pallets never thrive" an' all that. Tho come to think of it, if one's pallet is literally sunlit, one is *way* below thriving, and can be said to be exhibiting the dreaded "O sign." -even worse is having the tongue protrude beyond the corner of the mouth-the "Q sign."
