in haste left out some closing blathering generalities from the previous post:
While wars are often necessary and often marked by heroism, it is also true that much about them is nasty and messy. The movie, "Breaker Morant" suggests that prosecution of war crimes by one's own, also can be a nasty and imperfect, however necessary, piece of work. (granted, the previous sentence structure may have been unecessarily messy)
