Pak Attack?
Or: Rock the Khyber, Musharraf don't like it......
Or: Say It Ain't So, Joe

I've been thinking of posting something like what follows for weeks or months, but haven't noticed anyone else writing anything like it so far.....
OBL is most likely hiding in the only Muslim country which has a nuclear deterrent. Musharraf has apparently been unable or unwilling to wrest the Cloaked Anti-Crusader from his probable hideouts in the "tribal areas" of Pakistan. While the U.S. might like to lend more of a direct hand to our Pak backers(haven't the foggiest how many, if any, of our special ops are in Pakistan)Pervez "Megaton" Musharraf need not acquiesce to a massive incursion on our part -and might be soundly "dissed" by Muslims who would scoff at any protestations by him that he "had no choice" but to endure the unendurable presence of our guys for awhile.
My point? -Maybe that we are *already* deterred by an Islamic bomb. One hopes we have some contingency plans in the event Musharraf is blown up or overthrown to....I dunno...nukes are probably easy to hide. And as Michael Ledeen might say, "Plaster, please" with respect to Persia, one of the West's oldest enemies.
Oh, and cute bit by someone mentioned on the corner about OBL being mindful of McCain-Feingold campaign restrictions. Of course, Osama is less likely to use a "527" than say, a foreign carrier 747...(or an Airbus carrying docile, if not hostile(to us), cheese-eating surrender flying monkeys)
And I suppose that we can be grateful that Joe Biden was content to bloviate about Chiang Kai-Chirac's "ego," and didn't quote Jonah Goldberg without attribution. Seriously, Biden's use of Neal Kinnock's(the "Welsh Windbag") "thousand generations" speech was reprehensible not because of the plagiarism but because of its pandering to and incitement of genocidal class hatred(which was responsible for the deaths of scores of millions during the 20th Century). -and bad sociobiology-"workers" and "owners," let alone, Republicans and Democrats or Tories and Laborites haven't *existed*, let alone, avoided interbreeding for a "thousand generations." Granted, Osama Cum Laude BinBiden didn't use the phrase, "thousand generations" and it isn't clear that Kinnock meant to say that one of his ancestors *did* attend a university *prior* to a thousand generations ago("Kinnock" must be one of the oldest known Indo-European grunts on record). Although, who knows? Perhaps there was an idyllic age some 20 to 30 thousand years ago, when a prescient Kinnock college student or prof warned of global warming which threatened the pristine glaciers....
