I'm a little surprised that I remembered(tho not that my wife did-hey, it's the season for sucking up to spouses, ain't it?)that the lead of "An American Werewolf in London"(1981)was played by a guy whose fame had been based on singing and dancing in Dr. Pepper commercials.
