-will give serious consideration to deleting the previous three posts. The piece on tax rates was a horrible, half-baked mish-mosh. The "Matrix" tie-in was a bit of a stretch and probably not a bit funny. And GWB himself uses the "job" and "hard work" language.
Might also delete the following Lincoln rip-off:
If I could preserve the Union without killing a single additional member of Al Qaida; If I could preserve the Union by killing all of them, I would do so; If I could preserve the Union by killing some of them and leaving the others alone, I would do it."
-not that couldn't be trusted not to inflict a gruesome death on OBL or any of his minions if given a chance. Our union or at least its safety may not be "preserved" until our enemies realize that use of WMDs against us will result in the deaths of hundreds of millions of Muslims. They are not likely to be convinced of our resolve without our use of a nuclear weapon or at least massive use of conventional weapons on a medium or large-sized city. Such a demonstration and perhaps an honorable peace between the West and Islam might be viewed by OBL residing in some sanctuary[ Idi Amin, Mengistu, Kaiser Bill,and the not actually exiled Emperor Hirohito come to mind(will use []s from now on except for typos] as something worse than his death.
