Reassuring stuff, I guess -the quote from ADT about Americans settling down to normalcy after the fervor associated with Presidential elections. Then there's the perspective of some fat guy in one of the "Godfather" movies who gave "Tony" last minute instructions on a hit that would mark the start of a gang war: "These things have to happen once every 10 years or so. It gets rid of the bad blood."–
-Maybe. Or maybe over a protracted period time, elections can only delay and not ultimately prevent, civil wars. And given the dismal demographic trends abetted by a massive, genocidal wave of legal and illegal immigration, maybe we should hope for civil war sooner than later....
