Fight, fight, fight....
We've heard this rhetoric before, but the Cornerites are justified in gagging on Edwards' speech. Democrats *are* more guilty than Republicans of waging aggressive war domestically and using the language of war in political er, battles over issues which should be less than life or death in a civilized society.
What's at least as galling is that for many Democrats "fighting"(not partisanship) stops at the water's edge.....
And sadly, while it could be fairly said that for some on the extreme left there were "no enemies on the left," it now seems that now for some there are no enemies on the left *or* on the extreme jihadist, fundamentalist, Islamist "right." -or as Christopher Hitchens seems to argue- on the (wherever placed on a right-left axis)bureaucratic Islamofascist er, side. -enough of my not always so pithy aphorisms for now....
