A Greek Chorus Line in Hell
Or: "Get 'Em While They're Young"
Or: "Ken Sharia"

-Haven't the foggiest who first did the "Yasser, Nasser" take-off, but will update the Off-Broadway-In-Hell musical with:
"Yasser, that your baby?"
"Nasser, not even 'maybe.'"

It's horrible to contemplate, but Arafat's daughter, 9 year old Zahwa(various spellings)who would be old enough for Muhammed, might be eligible to be married off to whomever wins the succession struggle.
And speaking of unimaginable conceptions, it should be granted that Arafat, the "father of his country," did not dangle infants over balconies. Tho he did dangle before his school children a vision of a "Palestine" extending to the Mediterranean, and soaked with the blood of Jewish men, women, and children.
Zahwa is probably awash in creature comforts undreamnt of by Elian Gonzalez, but at least he doesn't face the prospect of death by stoning.
I referred earlier to Suha as a "Christian," but have since learned that while raised in the Greek Orthodox faith, she has converted to Islam. Given the attitude of most Greeks regarding Israel, that might not have been much of a stretch. A picture of Zahwa shows her looking a little blonder than one would anticipate from the genes of Arafat. Given the nationality of some of his bodyguards, it is not improbable that Zahwa has some alleles from what the french call "L' Allemagne."
A television commentator noted the presence of a french flag at the funeral in Ramallah today. The Palestinians of Casabombco may console themselves with the thought that "We'll always have Paris."
I still haven't been able to find a link to a still or video of Khomeini's tumble("Better get a lockbox!") from his casket, but chl.ca/CANOE2000/ap39.html comes close.
