Too obvious for Scrappleface on even a slow news day?

If I had some self-respect, I wouldn't take a whack at the softball of the German government's proposal to outlaw mosque sermons in any language other than German. It may be true that sometimes things are gained in translation as was claimed by "General Chang" of Star Trek's "The Undiscovered Country" -who preferred "Shakespeare in the original Klingon." Although Muslims claim a glorious past of toleration of (often industrious, skilled and learned)Jewish and Christian dhimmi(call it the "Not Inquisitioned Here Syndrome"), they look forward to an even more glorious future cleansed of Jews everywhere. And have been willing to learn er, nuances of Jew-hatred and killing from the French, Germans and Russians. And may enjoy hearing propaganda in Hitler's own beloved and sacred vernacular.
