Chutzpah of the Year Award
Or: Soliah Sister

If there is someone more deserving, than recently retired(reported today in Minnesota's RedStarTribune) Minneapolis FBI agent, Coleen Rowley, one of Time Magazine's "Persons of the Year" in 2002, for "Chutzpah of the Year", I'd like to know about it. I haven't read about her treachery in depth, but I'm sure that there is plenty of documentation of it on many blogs. Touted as a "whistle-blower," she admitted in an interview[I think it was in a Minnesota law magazine]that she didn't blow very hard prior to 9/11. The StarTrib writes, "She charged that the FBI blundered when they blocked requests from Minneapolis agents for a special warrant to search the possessions of terror suspect Zacarias Moussaoui, who had been learning to fly a 747 jumbo jet an Egan flight school." Perhaps there are some in the FBI who didn't show enough courage to risk the wrath of scum such as Rowley and those outside the agency which might have followed had they attempted to obtain such a warrant. Since 9/11 the FBI has given clearance to Rowley to work on behalf of terrorists[I have little doubt that Ms. Rowley could pass a polygraph test while denying this, given that, unlike many spies, she probably has lied to herself for a long time], giving talks about "ethics and civil liberties" to the ACLU and other organizations.
Incredibly(StarTrib): "She said, however, that she would like to be considered for appointment to the new federal Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. The new law overhauling the nation's intelligence apparatus directs the Department of Homeland Security to create the board to ensure that counterterrorism investigations and arrests do not infringe upon people's rights."
-guess she figured that Saddam Hussein was already being well defended by former US Attorney General, Ramsey Clark.
-and I suppose it would be case of "profiling" to note that she even *looks* a little like "Sara Jane Olson"(a.k.a Kathy Soliah)
Btw., Time Magazine's "Blog of the Year" Powerline has a great piece, "Kathy's Clowns" (presslord.com/kclowns.htm)
