The state-run French television network is said to be working on a WWII revisionist history series: "Vichy At Sea" (no apologies to Admiral Darlan- btw., I still haven't gotten around to reading a book Dad gave me: "The Murder of Admiral Darlan")

Re Scott Ott's Scrappleface today, a swell moniker for the hunter-killer sub named after Jimmy "The Ancient Mariner" Carter: "Nerf The Surf".

One final note before going back to noddy-blinkers-the Corner's reference General Dynamics has stuck this deep sea ditty in mah haid: "G.D. brings bad things to death!" (apologies to General Electric)
